General Health Tests

We offer a wide variety of health screening tests to assess general health.  Some of these are available on the NHS, so you may wish to ask your GP if you can have the test, first.  However, you may find that your GP is not willing to arrange one for you due to budget restrictions or unfamiliarity of the test you are seeking.

Tests which require a venous blood sample can be taken at your surgery, private hospital, by a local health practitioner, at one of the laboratories in London, or through a phlebotomy service in your area.  You may be required to pay an extra fee for venepuncture (taking of blood).

CHILDREN: We are unable to arrange most of these tests for children under 16 unless you have written authorisation from a doctor.  Exceptions apply for the tests marked with a *. If you are concerned about your child’s health, we strongly recommend that you seek medical advice, first.

Please Note:  When you order a test, you will be taken to a form after making your payment which MUST be filled in, giving details necessary for us to authorise your test with the laboratory.  Test results will be sent to the email address provided on the form.  If you are paying for a test for someone else, please give their details on the form. Failure to do this may cause unnecessary delay in receiving the test kit or result.
